This is where all the boats go to rest.

I found this scene while driving around lake Trasimeno. These poor bodies lying lifeless on the ground, once travelled fearlessly around the open lake. The sunset in this picture is a symbol of the time passing, coming to an end for these poor vessels. In the background we can see the lake, once the home of these boats, never to return again. The unfortunate side of human nature is to use things and dispose of them when done. The vibrant greens and reds attempt to fill the scene with new life, but the subject remains the same.
